A Little About Me...
I went to the University of Northern Iowa and got my music degree right after high school (I play the French horn). After that, I got married, had three kids, and then decided I wanted to be an elementary school teacher! So, I went to Southwestern College in Winfield, Kansas to get my elementary education degree. My husband is a professor of music theory and composition at Southwestern. My hobbies include teaching Zumba to both adults and kids, playing French horn in the South Kansas Symphony, reading, and spending time with my family and dog. I also love to travel and have been to France, Italy, Russia, Hungary, Mexico, NYC, Boston, California, Texas, Florida, and most recently, the Four Corners (where I stood in Utah, Colorado, Arizona, and New Mexico simultaneously!).
I teach classes at the Winfield Rec Center! |
